maggiequinn https://maggiequinn.wordpress.com I Believe in BIEN ... Music? I try but I'm deaf in one ear. What do I try? Playing instrumental music on my mandolin. I'm still looking for a violin teacher. The Chaleur Region would be a great opportunity for a violin teacher. Rumour has it we'll be getting one this summer. I believe there is no shame in shamless promotion ... Yes ... Shamless ... As in no sham ... Well maybe only a wee bit ... Like the smile under all difficulties kind of sham ... The sort of sham that keeps you repeating year after year "Don't give up ... Don't give up ... Don't give up" used to be I was a groupie back in the days of flower-power ... discovered U2 in later years ... nowadays I work my site ... www.maggiequinn.me Three days a week I do art at 212 St Andrew Street in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. It is the site of a formerly very popular music store that closed down after nearly 40 years in business ... Sad yes ... But I still have one small room where I sell strings and things, even a few guitars. I love when friendly people come in to look around. I have a motley assortment of musical accessories and paintings for sale. If visitors don't buy something that's mostly OK. What is not OK is when people try to badger me into lowering the price, especially since this is not a high-profit store, more an entrepreneurial art space that is selling musical accessories to help pay the bills. George the Irish Magpie is never far away. Together George and Maggie create this web-log.
