Government likes Chambers of Commerce.
I have a feeling Government does not support social enterprise unless it is connected to “same olds” like Chambers of Commerce … Proof is in the pudding.
Besides … Why not ask ACOA … Ask what they are doing to encourage social enterprise.

Yes, I realize it’s still bitterly cold around the shores of Chaleur Bay. But the thaw has to happen eventually.

What is it? What is the Spring Garden of Artists? Well since you seem interested …

February begins with a new Celtic season appropriate to thinking about gardens and planning for Spring and getting things ready.

No George … The Spring Garden of Artists is Not an English Country Garden … Not at all … More like a Wild Flower Garden.

The Garden of Artists is not about neat little plots or pc containers with well-defined labels lined up according to tongues or nationalities or politics. Neither is about gender nor religious beliefs.

The Garden of Artists It is about independent artists getting together and sharing art … Visual art … Music … Songs … Drama … Creative Writing … Dance …

No George, I have no idea what sort of flowers will sprout. That’s the thing about wildflowers. You may spread the seeds but you never know how they will take or what wonder-blooms might appear …

Harpin’ Without a Harper … With no Harp … The Rock Opera in Progress

Some folks will be waving red and white flags and celebrating Canada Day. Here I am still waiting for that Irish Harper or maybe an Irish fiddler or piper to help build up interest in Irish sessions at the Doucet-Hennessy House in Bathurst, New Brunswick Canada. I’d invite the piano-player but our piano is sadly out of tune and there are no funds to tune it.

Don’t Forget You’re Irish Art exhibit opens to the public July 3. Drop by Tuesday to Saturday for a cup of tea and a chat at the historic Doucet-Hennessy House in Bathurst, New Brunswick. If you play Celtic or Acadian music or any sort of traditional folk music, we hope to have informal music sessions on Saturdays from 2-4. Bring along your acoustic instrument and join us. Music workshops are in the planning for September.

Maybe we local Artists have finally found our place on Chaleur Bay.

Do you really belive in that George?  Hmmmm well in the late part of the last century … Was that before The New World Order George? No, I cannot recall exactly.  Well before the year 2000 … Actually before 1999 … Ahhh now that was an interesting year.  Yes George there was. Canada in 1999.  Who was in charge? No idea George.  Sounds too much like politics.

Talk politics? No George absolutely not.  What do I know?  Not much … But here you go …

Decor Nanny

Yes George. You did hear right. I have become a Decor Nanny … Or if you prefer Decor-Nanny. So.
So? That is the latest and greatest expression George. Must be a sign of intelligence I guess. Well I hear it all the time when I listen to CBC radio.

So, what I do as a Decor-Nanny is … I go to your place with my Decor-Maid kit and I help get your creative juices flowing.
You don’t get it do you George?
It’s about art George. And really you mustn’t feel bad. Most people don’t get art. That’s why artists would much rather associate with other artists.
